HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED?
Treadmills vary greatly by size, but a good rule of thumb is that you will generally need at least about 3′ x 6′ of floor space to accomodate a sturdy, high-quality machine when in use. All of our residential treadmills fold however, so that they can be stored and/or rolled away when not in use.
Ellipticals also vary greatly by size and design, with front, rear and centre-drive machines all having different footprints. Again, it is safe to assume that you will need roughly 2.5′ x 6′ of floor space to accomodate sturdy, high-quality elliptical with a sufficient stride length. Several of our models have also been designed to fold for easier movement and storage.
Upright or Spin Bikes have the smallest footprint, and usually only require about 2′ x 4′ of floor space for use and are quite easily moved. Recumbent Bikes, by design, usually require about 2.5′ x 5′.
Whatever your needs, we always carry space-saving models for tighter spaces, so please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll do our best to set you up with a machine that will suit whatever space you’ve got to work with.
WHO LOOKS AFTER SETTING THE MACHINE UP?
We do! We’ll take care of everything from delivery and set-up to instructing you on all the features and benefits of your machine and its proper use within your fitness program.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MACHINE NEEDS MAINTENANCE?
Simple – we look after anything that goes wrong with the machine for the entire length of time you are with HHC. That includes even routine maintenance, (it just doesn’t include misuse or abuse/neglect.)
